Spring Healing through Art, Nature & Heritage
Hello beautiful souls!
It's been a while since my last update, and I'm so grateful to be back. Life threw a few unexpected challenges my way, including some tech breakdowns that brought my projects to a halt. My old laptop gave out on me, making it impossible to edit. But there’s a silver lining! I’ve finally upgraded to a new computer that I've dedicated toward filmmaking, and I’m feeling so inspired to create again.
This latest vlog captures a very special time: a full month spent with my Mum, who visited me from Northumberland, England. Our time together was filled with joy, creativity, and deep healing. After navigating a complex past, we reconnected in the most meaningful ways through shared art, dancing, fireside chats, and long walks in nature. Our bond blossomed in a way I’ll cherish forever.
The video itself flows between seasons, marking a gentle shift from Winter into the awakening of Spring. It’s a bit of everything: cozy, reflective, playful, emotional, and deeply human. My hope is that you find a sense of comfort and healing in it, just as Mum and I did while living it.
A little fun fact, my Mum used to be a professional dancer and once competed at the Royal Albert Hall in London back in the day! Watching her come alive through movement again was one of the most magical parts of our time together. I’ve been encouraging her to dance more. It seems to light her up from the inside out. If you feel inspired, please leave her a kind word or two in the comments. I’ll be sure to pass them along.
Thank you for being here, for watching, and for supporting my creative journey by the North Sea. Your presence means the world to me.
Sending you love and warm hugs across the waves 🌊✨
