Nature's Teacher
Hello my friend!
It's 11:34pm here and I'm all snuggled up in bed. I have some calm meditation music playing while I write this.
I wanted to pop in to say hello. It's been some beautiful days here. Spring has certainly arrived and the island is buzzing with new life. I have witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets in the recent days, especially now that the sun is moving closer to the sea horizon. Tonight the sky has been bursting with strong pinks, reds and gold, as well as soft blues and yellows. It's truly heaven on earth here.
I think I have put too much on my plate too early and it's been easy to get overwhelmed before even getting started. I look forward to a calm creative state of being now. That's also what I love about the first day of a new month. It's a new start, a new beginning, a clean slate.
I have so much I want to share with you from my days since moving here. Especially on my Youtube channel. I hope you will find my story inspiring to change your life for the better. It truly takes a second to change your life. It's all about having the courage to make the decision. Then it's easier to weather the storm as you stay the course toward your dreams. It's easy for us humans to gravitate away from pain, but sometimes the discomfort is life asking you, "how badly do you want to go after your dream?" I think the first step is knowing your dream, that's the easy part. The hard part is doing everything possible to make it come to fruition.
Tonight I watched The Octopus Teacher. It's an incredible documentary which I highly encourage you to watch. I hope I have the opportunity in this life to experience this human to wild animal bond. My heart swelled with love for this octopus. And I had so much empathy for the diver, Craig. Even though he did not go into too much depth about his emotional situation and background, I could relate to the human struggle he shared. We all struggle and want to come out of pain. Nature is a great teacher and a great healer. I encourage you to watch this documentary. It's inspired me to embrace the human to nature connection even more now.
Nature can bring us so much harmony, less anxiety and feelings of burnout. I think we have enough science to prove this. Don't you feel it when you are in nature. That release. The relief. I have certainly experienced some challenges in my life, like we all do. We don't come out of life unscathed, yet how we respond to the challenge matters the most. And while we heal, nature will always be present with us.
Anyway, just some thoughts I wanted to share with you before bed. In the past 2 years I've experienced a lot of anxiety before falling asleep. Tonight I will try and doze off to this lovely healing frequency music.
Much love to you and goodnight from my part of the world to yours ꨄ
